      About CARDET<\/h3>\n

      The Center for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology Ltd (CARDET) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, research and development organization based in Cyprus. This Privacy Policy governs how we collect and process personal data in the context of the fuTOURiSME - eLearning<\/strong> e-learning platform, available at https:\/\/elearning.futourisme.eu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      Data Controller.<\/strong> For the purposes of the GDPR, CARDET \u2013 Centre for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology Ltd<\/strong>, 29 Lykavitou Avenue, 1st Floor, Engomi, 2401 Nicosia, Cyprus, is the Data Controller<\/strong> for the personal data processed under this Policy.       CARDET complies with all applicable privacy laws, including the EU\u2019s General Data Protection Regulation (\u201cGDPR\u201d, Regulation (EU) 2016\/679). \u201cPersonal Data\u201d means any information relating to an identifiable natural person. \u201cSensitive Personal Data\u201d (Special Categories) means data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, or data concerning health, sex life or sexual orientation. We process your personal data only as described in this Policy and on the legal bases set out in Section 4.<\/p>\n

      Where a course includes a discussion forum, anything you post there is visible to the other registered learners on that course and to CARDET staff. Please do not post personal details you would rather keep private.<\/p>\n

      Your certificate of completion is a simple PDF showing your name and the course title. We do not publish it, and we do not maintain any public list of participants or graduates.<\/p>\n

      Providing your full name, email address and account password is a necessary requirement to register for and take part in this platform; it is needed to create your account and provide the course to you. If you do not provide this data, we cannot create your account or give you access to the course. Website usage statistics are collected only with your consent, and refusing them does not affect your participation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

      Use of Cookies and Other Digital Technologies<\/h3>\n

      We use strictly necessary cookies<\/strong> required to log you in and keep the platform secure \u2013 these do not require consent.<\/p>\n

      We also use Google Analytics<\/strong> (Google LLC, United States) to understand how visitors use the platform; as our Analytics property runs on GA4, individual IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you consent<\/strong> via our cookie banner, where you can accept or reject them and change or withdraw your choice at any time via \u201cCookie settings\u201d. Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect your use of the platform. See our Cookie Notice<\/strong>, linked in the footer of every page, for the full list of cookies and their duration.<\/p>\n

      Some pages may embed content hosted by third parties, such as videos. When such content loads, the provider may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, and its own privacy policy then applies to that processing.
