The Italian start-up Offtryp has among its objectives to solve a number of problems for two of the main players in the tourism industry: travellers and travel agents.
For travellers: organising a trip one is confronted with a flood of information, always scattered across too many websites. Just being able to select the relevant information is, in itself, exhausting work. If one relies on a professional, the timescales are very long and the prices out of the market, while if one searches online one only finds pre-made tours, where one completely loses the sense of exclusivity and choice.
For travel agencies: too many agencies are forced to raise their prices as demand is decreasing, due to poor digitisation and a failure to adapt to today’s market. Finding new customers is becoming increasingly difficult and unfortunately we are seeing many agencies and DMCs closing down.
It is precisely to solve these multiple problems that Offtryp was born, an innovative system that is revolutionising the way travel is organised for travellers, and travel offers for agencies.
How does it work? You enter your travel preferences (budget, dates, departure city), choose a destination, the travel interests that suit you best, the types of services you would like and explore the attractions and activities in the selected destination. Select the attractions you would like to visit and add them to your travel list. Request and receive a detailed ad-hoc itinerary and detailed daily schedule.
